In the German Journal of Romania, ADZ , from March 20, 2018, appeared an article “Seine Muttersprache war das habsburgische Deutsch der Juden aus Czernowitz”( His mother tongue was the Habsburg German of the Jews from Czernowitz), author Rudolf Herbert (Brussels) about the novel „Meine Eltern“ (My Parents) of Aharon Appelfeld. The novel appeared at Rowohlt – Berlin. If you are nterested to read the article (in German), I can send you the journal as PDF.
