This may be slightly off-topic: The book is focused on western and
central Galicia (I don't see even a reference to Bukovina or Czernowitz
in the index), but given that it is in the neighborhood, so to speak,
and that there was much populuation movement within the region, I figure
it can't hurt to share the reference.
