Hi everyone. I am hoping that you might have information about Tanceni-Cernauti(now Tovtry, Ukraine). It is 19 miles from Chernivitsi. My grandparents' family, Ten(n)enblat(t), Engelbaum, and Kramer, lived there at the turn of the 20th century.
I am attempting to find my great grandmother's grave. She died from an epidemic in May, 1905. In which cemetary would she likely have been buried? Does it still exist and if so how can I locate the grave?
I am looking for birth, marriage, and death records from approximately 1870 to prior to the war. I have searched Jewish Gen and Ancestry unsuccessfully.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for keeping our heritage alive.
