Czernowitzers...
I crossed already "The Invisible [East/West] Border Between Trabzon and Samsun" a few days ago, but crossing the Bosporus from Asia to Europe was even more significant. In 2015, when the Grand Synagogue of Edirne was reopened after more than three decades of decay, the Municipality of Edirne hung a banner in the street of the synagogue and greeted the guests with the words "Welcome home, our old neighbors!". Additional evidence needed?

This was the 13th stage of my motorcycle ride to Bukovina and far, far beyond. From now on to steer due north, just another 800 km to go. "Stay tuned!"
