Dear Edgar,

What a weird story! You couldn't find the memorials I found but discovered a third one, of which I've never heared. It seems there is even a fourth one - at least I saw photos of it.

By the way: I returned to Rivne last November and finally found some more words about it.

Have a safe trip, dear Edgar! Take care and please no more "near-death experiences"!

Czernowitzers...

Rive, fourth stage of my motorcycle ride to Bukovina and far, far beyond! Our friend and fellow member Christian Herrmann raised the question "What can I say about Rivne?" and came to following conclusion: "Maybe that the city is a striking example of what was done to the country and its inhabitants in the 20th century. German occupation, war, genocide, Sovietization." Well, inspired by Christian, let me add "A Few More Words About Rivne" from my particular point of view:
