Assaf - Do you know what might trigger some to have decided to get a marriag=
e officially recorded? I know that his couple=E2=80=99s oldest daughter got=
 married the next year, so I wonder if that was the reason.

Would the actual marriage date be written on the delayed record? In my case=
, I see some dates written in the last column that show 1881 and 1882. But I=
 can=E2=80=99t understand what these years might refer to, as their real mar=
riages had to have occurred in the 1860s. - Nark
