More about Olmitz, Maehren: Town was known before WW1 as Olmuetz (umlaut over the u), Moravia, Austrian Empire. It is the present day city of Olomouc, Czech Republic. During WW1, some of my relatives from Sadagora re-located to 38 miles to the southwest of Olmutz, in Brno.
