End of April I drew your attention to Gaelle Fisher's new book "Resettlers & Surviviors • Bukovina and the Politics of Belonging in West Germany and Israel, 1945-1989":

Gaelle's introduction to her book starts with a reference to Georg Drozdowski. In this context we are aware of Günther F. Guggenberger's book "Georg Drozdowski in literarischen Feldern zwischen Czernowitz und Berlin (1920-1945)" [Georg Drozdowski in Literary Fields between Czernowitz and Berlin (1920-1945)]. now appeared in Ukrainian Language on the initiative of Dr. Sergij Osatschuk, the Governor of Chrinivtsi and Austrian Honorary Consul in Chernivtsi. Quite remarkable and fully in line with Paul Celan's statement: "Czernowitz was a place where people and books used to live..."
