Shalom Czernowitzers!

The czernowitz-L site
now has some content: pictures, maps and links, organized
as such. Be sure to use your browser's 'reload' (netscape)
or 'refresh' (internet explorer) buttons to get the latest
version of the site.

So far things are moving along well, but the need for
content is the big need. The major categories as of
the moment are maps, photographs and links. We will
need more of these, but we also need more 'human'
content: stories, histories, family recollections,
documents, testimonies, bibliographies, trip journals
and so on.

Be assured that I will work with you and your material
in a discreet way; the goal being that you are comfortable
with the result. You can decide how your material is to
be presented, and how and if you wish to be identified.
with it. You and I can work through any issues until
you are satisfied, and only then will it be posted
to the site. Anything posted to the site can be changed.

If you're unsure about whether the materials you have
would be of interest to the group, or how to put what
you have together, we can discuss it privately by e-mail.

Now, how can you get the material to me?

Assuming what you have is in electronic format,
the easiest way would be to attach whatever you have
to an e-mail that you send me at:

You can attach photos in any format (.jpg, .gif, .tiff, .bmp
As for text, I would rather deal with plain text documents
rather than MS-Word documents because of viruses and worms.
You can always save your work in plain text format. If that's
a problem for you, send what you have and I'll deal with it.

If you have materials that you're not sure how to send,
just e-mail me and we'll work something out.

A wonderful Pesach to all!
