[Cz-L] About people who emigrated from Sadagora

Hi:
Was it common for people to come to the US and then return to Sadagroa for
a few years and then return to the US again?
It appears that my great grandfather did so and the second time he returned
if I read it right had $300 in his possession. This to me seems a large
amount of money.
