[Cz-L] Kolnik family in Czernowitz

I am trying to establish if the painter, Artur Kolnik, who left Czernowitz
for Paris in the 1920's or 1930's, had any Kolnik family in Czernowitz. I
believe he came to Czernowitz from somewhere else, and would like to
establish that as well. I have looked through many of the resources
referring to Czernowitz on the web that are linked to the Czernowitz site
and on Jewish Gen etc., but can find no record of the family in Czernowitz.

If anyone has some information on this family, please do contact me.
