[Cz-L] Cz reunion

Dear Czernowitzers,

In view of the latest Email letters on this subject, some more thoughts:

In many ways a reunion in May is preferable to one in June, the airfare
is cheaper, the weather is better; cooler and less chance of thunderstorms.
In my opinion we had best get to Bucharest Romania on our own. Possibly
take either the train or a plane to Suceava, individually or together.
>From Suceava we could take a train to Czernowitz, or we could arrange
that we be picked up by a minibus. I doubt that we would get a reduction
in hotel cost as a group, after all we are a captive audience.
Czernowitz has only two large hotels.
>From Czernowitz we could arrange trips to neighboring towns such as
Sadagura or Wishnitz, also a trip to Mogilev and other places in
Transnistria. Those who wish could later stay in the southern Bucovina
either individually or together. There are comfortable hotels in
Campulung, Gura Humorului and Radauti. In Romania it is easy to rent a car,
the roads are mostly reasonable and younger people generally know English.

I have been to Czernowitz in 2003 and 2004 and to Romania 3 years in a row,
but a group of Czernowitzers meeting in Czernowitz would be special.
