I am curious what stage the famous cemetary project of Chernowitz is at.
Someone emailed me a link to my brother in laws families home town
cemetary in Mogador Moracco.
Now Mogador "Azoy a far varfener ort" by any measure. It is off in
the woods (okay, so there are not too many "woods" in Moracco) even
for Moracco!
The guy is not normal. But we found a few relatives I think.
Plus a friend of mine whose mother is from there found a few
relatives and old friends.
I am including a link to the site: (As an example of what we could do)
http://www.mygenealogy.ch/cemetery/search.php?byfirst=1&condition[3]=k&condition[4]=k
It looks to me like the guy took his digital, snapped off the pics of
the Matzayvot (Gravestones) then simply uploaded them rewriting the
captions. The "click throughs" are the work.
Because he translated the stones from Hebrew into English on a separate page.

I think that if this costs money, we could all certainly afford to
each throw a bit in and have this set up as I am sure poor Bruce is
overwhelmed with the enormity of the "gruntwork" involved.
Wishing you all well,
Raanan
