Dick & Czernowitzers... what a great resource, as the names of the towns in
various languages are given; thanks so much for that Dick! I'm sure it will
be useful for many on the list. Of course now that I know where to look,
Mahala is also on the 1910 Austro-Hungarian map collection: Map 44-48,
directly east of old Czernowitz on the east side of the Pruth, clear as a
bell. I will forward the appropriate section of that map to Katy.
