Dear fellow Czernowitzers,

I agree with Michael Roll, that the trip, reunion does not need a title.
We can continue to call it Czernowitz reunion. I'll be summing up all the
responses to the questionnaire no later than Aug 30, I am still getting some
every day, there are now 18. Then we will know when most people want the
reunion to be. At this point I would also urge all who want to participate
in the reunion, but who might have justifiably been insulted by some of my
ill tempered remarks, to put their personal grievances aside, if possible
even forgive me and answer the questionnaire, so that their opinions and
wishes are also taken into consideration.
To the best of my knowledge, the Cheremosh hotel will give us a discount of
10% if we book 10 or more rooms. I do not know about the Bukovina hotel. So
far it is not clear at which hotel most people want to stay. Possibly we
need some more discussion on this subject. The Bukovina is slightly closer
to the center of town, but apparently less comfortable than the Cheremosh,
the Bukovina, also has no conference facilities. At this stage, I think, it
is too early to decide whether the hotel booking should be done individually
or by one person for us all.
