May I just say to you both that no matter how large our group visiting
the cemetery, it will not have a very great impact if it is not seen by
someone who could act on it. The Mayor's presence there, seeing the
number of people interested, and the economical possibilities to the
city of pleasing our group, would be a very powerful tool which we
should not disregard.

hi,,re the mayor .... if he has already been invited it would be rather
rude
and couterproductive to disinvite him. if he has not been asked i
would
like to keep it to ourselves and maybe the rabbi to lead a service at
the
memorial. best, cornel
