Thank you Yehudit,
Since I am sending this letter to all, I would like to add that
Jessica Attiyeh, Renee Steinig, Marianne Hirsch and Leo Spitzer
do not wish to be on the committee. Please those who still want
to make some nominations, do not nominate them.
I also want to campaign a bit for Florence Heymann, who is one
of the people I nominated and who may not be well known to many.
Florence is involved in research about Czernowitz and Transnistria.
She has written impressively about this subject. She would be very
valuable in advising us on lecturers and discussion leaders,
possibly she would also be able to persuade the appropriate people
to act as such.
You may read and inform yourselves about Florence Heymann,
by searching for her name on the internet.
Best regards, Mimi
