hi,all,
this is an opportunity that must not be missed,
we should do whatever we can , it is a celebration of Czernowitz .
this is our town just as much as it is theirs ( if not more).
what should be our reward ? none whatsoever ,
   just the feeling of belonging.
cleaning up the cemetery should be a city job anyway and with
a budget of millions for the festivities ,the sums for this job should
be trivial.
the cemetery should be an attraction for tourists !
thinking again ,something comes up my mind as an idea of what could be
done by the city as a "reward ",if you ask me ,it should be their
duty to do it in any case:

1. the Temple : Rebuild the Temple or at least tear down the cinema -
it is a disgrace and stands on hallow ground.
if there is no funds , make a garden instead.
2. rename main streets with names to recall the local Jewry like :
    a. Chief Rabbi Mark
    b. Martyrs of Transnistria
and other Czernowitzer Jewish luminary's names or events that should
be commemorated.
in any case a committee must be created to spend some time
on location
