On the other hand, I would like to make it clear that the address mentioned=
 
in the e-mail circulated a couple of days ago to the Cz.-List by Mr.
Yaakov-Nachum Ben Barbara is the address of the former Juedisches
Nationalhaus on the former Fischplatz. It is the address of the new
Bukovina Jewish Museum on the Theaterplatz (Teatralna Ploschad 5, Dom
Kultury)) and the names mentioned are: Mrs. Natalia Shevchenko as the
Director of the museum and Mr. Joseph Zissels as the Curator. When we
visited Czernowitz for the 2006 Reunion we were told that the Juedisches
Nationalhaus is now called the House/Palace of Culture. The e-mail addres=
s
mentioned there under "Contacts" is the address to Mrs. Shevchenko. So,
there is nothing new regardiing the "galoshka" and the other virtual museum=
 
websites.
