We lived in Bucharest and Dr. Ramler, who had been the director of the
mental hospital in Czernowitz, and a great music lover, used to come and
visit us, especially my father and grand-mother whom he had know before
the war and with whom he had often played chamber music. When living in
Czernowitz, he used to travel to Vienna once a month to go to the opera
and to concerts.
He was a tall, slim, handsome man, with a small moustache. He usually
visited us on Saturdays. My mother remembers it all.
We left Romania in 1959, and don't have any more information about him.
