Mimi, i am sorry but the relations between Ukraine and Romania are perfectly
normal. The problem is in czernowitz town hall where some of the senior
people think they are still fighting World War 2. Cornel

You are making wide range and false assumptions.
No one belittles what Florentin and his friends have done
and are trying to do in Romania.
What I am trying to do in Chernivtsi is a separate project,
conceived and set in motion completely on its own, even if
Florentin and I are honoring the same man.

Currently the relations between Romania and the Ukraine are strained.
I do not want, the memorial plaque to honor Traian Popovici, to be
further cause for disputes between the two countries, nor do I want
any disputes between the two countries to impede the placing
of the plaque.

It has absolutely nothing to do with uniting people, or separating them.
