[Cz-L] Re: czernowitz-l digest: December 04, 2008

As many of you know I sent a link last week of a short video I took at the
outdoor Josef Schmidt Conference
in October. I then sent an email describing the exact location....Well!!!
I now have renewed respect for cameras that take videos and the
possibilities they provide. I received over a dozen personal messages from CZers who
were so excited about being able to see that area in CZ; some of you actually
recognized where you or a relative once lived, a door way, a side street!! So
many of you thanked me that I see now how valuable that little $129 camera
and a computer are, and what joy they are able to bring. (If anyone is
interested in the brand name please write to me - it is a very small digital camera
that takes both stills and videos with just a touch of a button) I got the
feeling from some of those who wrote me that, being older or ill, they would
have never again been able to see their old home the way it is today. I am
filled with gratitude for having had this opportunity to bring it to them.
