[Cz-L] Re: czernowitz-l digest: December 09, 2008

OK, now that I know that so many of us have memories tied to songs
our parents sang, I have to ask about one more song: does anyone know
the words to this one? This is as closely as I can remember
them. (please excuse my poor Yiddish):

Ich habt a scheine meidele
A meidele geshein
(something like "and every time she looks at me")
Die ganze velt iz mein.

I look forward to learning more about it. It was the only one my
father would sing out loud besides Oyfen Pripetchik and Hatikva!
