[Cz-L] My Czernowitz roots

Chag Samaiach to all,

My name is Bernie Thau while I was born in the USA my father and
grandparent came from Czernowitz. My father Martin Thau his parents were
Harry and Sally. Harry's father was Simon, I believe he died in the
ghetto. My father has a sister Bella, also born in Czernowitz, and a
brother Sam. My father belonged to the first Banilla society and is
buried in the society plot in Wellwood cemetery. When my fathers family
went to Toledo where his sister and brother live. While my father came
to NY where he was a butcher and in the 50's played professional soccer
for the NY Americans. While I would enjoy elaborating on his holocaust
experience which he related to me at another time. My reason for this
initial contact is to know if any other member knew of them and could
relate any information about my grandfather, great grandfather, or any
relatives who were not fortunate enough to escape.
