There are 6 pieces of film footage available regarding Czernowitz, availabl=
e
from individual stock footage companies at a combined search site called:=

1 seems to be a duplicate, and another may not be of much historic interest
- a 1997 interview with a Ukrainian astronaut regarding the El Nino effect
on Galapagos Islands.
I've listed them below, with just the segments pertaining to Czernowitz.
Some of the segments may be very short compared to the length of the full
film / tape. "CU" means "close up".
A very interesting one is available from 1922. Unfortunately, again, the
segment on Cz. could be very short. It says gymnastic festival but it coul=
d
actually refer to a gymnasium if there is a translation issue:

At our Allies. American sea-plane named March, postal packets are loaded in
the hydroplane, the aircraft takes off, in flight accompanied w/ an Air
Forces squadron.
The Front. Chernovitsy (Czernowitz, Chernivtsi, Russian also Chernovtsy;
Romanian Cernauti, German Czernowitz), the River Prut (Pruth), First
Ukrainian Front. In Northern Bukovina (Ukraine) taking of the town of
Chernovitsy, the city is liberated from nazi occupation. Destroyed, bombed
Cathedral (Bukovin's Episcopate). Soviet soldiers are not so
enthusiastically welcomed by the inhabitants of Chernovitsy.
