[Cz-L] Picker family connections?

Dear all,

First, I'd like to say thank you to everyone who has been emailing the =
list recently. I find it heart-warming to read of old memories and new =
connections alike.

My paternal grandmother's family was from Czernowitz and I'm wondering =
if anyone here has any memories of them. My grandmother was Regina =
Picker and her parents were Betty and Simon. Other siblings were Harry, =
Sidonia, Robert, Sarah and Zilla. Regina left Czernowitz as a young =
adult and moved to the middle east. She and her husband, Zalman Bernard =
Klinger, raised their family in Cairo and Alexandria. If any of this =
sounds familiar - and particularly if anyone remembers the Picker family =
restaurants - I would love to hear from you.

On another note: my father has mentioned making a trip to Czernowitz =
this year but he doesn't use email. I wonder if I might be able to put =
him in touch with list members who might be going? He is in Cambridge, =
England.
