Yiddish : the languge of the positive .
  If someone is a Pfutscher , a bungler than he is a "Kalike ".
   But if he is a no good in every way, does nothing right then
    the Czernowitzer uses the positive : "Er toigt zim Tuches".
    From the German "taugen " fit. "Untauglich" then is unusable , not fit.
    "Tuches "is the butt .
     So if somebody is a complete disaster ,two left hands , then he
     toigt zim Tuches. Always think and speak positive !
        The English -Americans have it too : "Good for nothing". Less
     explicit.
     Must have taken it from the Yiddish but prude as they are they
     miss the essence.
