Dale...

Just a useful hint to you (and all others), searching for names in "Der Tag - The Day" (http://czernowitzdaily.blogspot.com/). Klaus Binder from Berlin has established an archive, covering about 50 % of the - transcribed - articles, accessible as follows:

1. Go to the homepage of "Der Tag": http://czernowitzdaily.blogspot.com/
2. Click on the picture, displaying the authors or go directly to: http://dertag.forenworld.com/index.php
3. Enter your keyword in the search field, for example "Edelstein" (today you'll get 16 hits)

Hope, these additional advice will be useful to you (and others).

Best wishes!
