Strange as it seems Jews stood out at both sides of social standing.
The most affluent but also most ardent socialists .
Sometimes in the same family.
This did not make us very popular.
The antisemites accused the Jews for conceiving communism.
With more than half of the Bolshevik Politbiro being Jewish
they had a very good case.
In 1940 Jewish teen age activists with red sleeve bands humiliated
Rumanian military.
A year later , they remembered this with dire consequences.
