On May 19th, Hardy Breier sent us the URL at which there are 7
photographs
of the ceremony at which the new memorial plate was inaugurated.

The photographs in order from top to bottom show:
1. The memorial plate itself
2. from left to right: Rabbi Menachem Mendel Glissenstein,
     Rabbi Kofmanski and a member of the city council of Chernivtsi.
3. Group of children, probably from the Jewish school.
4. same as #3.
5. The current acting mayor, member of the city council.
6. Dr. Josif Bursuk and the same member of the city council.
7. placing flowers on the memorial plate.

This memorial plate is located in the area of the former Turken-Brunnen.
To get to it from the Ringplatz (Tcentralna Plocha), go down Sheptyzkyy
(the former Landhausgasse), till you come to the Turketska on the left.
Take the Turketska and go down it till you come to a bridge over it.
On the left is a "Bauhaus" style large building which used to be the
the medical clinic.
Take the stairs at the left side of the street, you will come to
where the memorial plate is.
