Hi Cornel, Hardy, Mimi and everybody!
I certainly have no intention to start some kind of dispute, even if I knew in advance that there would be reactions like "getting our approval, our support, etc". Who comes up with the idea of "asking for permission"? Certainly not me.
The answer to the question "why should they contact us" is very simple: "just to inform us"... if they consider us as "Amhu" (spelling? English translation?) Pity that they didn't!
I believe that those who were involved - and there must have been some! - did hide the info on purpose from others who were in contact with us.
Again, what a pity!
For the rest, I will certainly not take position for or against this memorial plate and/or its wording, location, etc.
Please, to all List members: I hope my question didn't hurt (too) many feelings.
