While in Czernowitz, I noticed a street name and a memorial plaque
To Manfred Stern. I googled him and found out that he was born in Hliboka
south of Czernowitz, was a Soviet spy in America, high up in the NKVD
And GRU. He was also known as Moshe Stern, or Lazar Stern.
