There was a very beautiful shop on the Hauptstrasse in Czernowitz, mainly
carrying fashionable mens' wear. The name of the shop was Nerwin and
Fuhrmann. I wouild like to know whether there is some connection with this
branch of the Fuhrmann family, because Jacob Fuhrmann went to school with me
from 1936 (we were 6 years old) until 1940 when we had the first Russian
invasion. Jacob was an extremely good-looking and sensitive boy who perished
in Transnistria I think.
The famous jewelry firm Spritzer and Fuhrmann with branches all throughout
Central America and Europe was related. An aunt of Jacob's was called
Schoene, a cousin, who became my friend in Curacao was named Esti Eisenfeld
(daughter of Schoene).Any whereabouts as regards this family?
