Hi Mimi:

The answer to this is "Yes!". I've been working on this type of
information from the start, and while it is a "work in progress", I
am more than willing to share what I have with the proviso that it
won't be perfect and some errors are likely. I would love to see the
map you've acquired. We could then superimpose the old Parcel
numbers directly on this map and post it to the web site, perhaps.
What do you think? I'll share what I have with you off-list.

The tombstone image files are group in folders by the current Area
designations. I've gone folder by folder looking up the parcel
locations for a sample of pre-1945 burials in each area. This has
helped me to learn which Areas correspond to which pre-1945 Parcels.
Some Parcels correspond to multiple Areas and some Areas correspond
to multiple Parcels. Your map will help sort this all out.

Sorry, but I'm not familiar with the situation, other than to mention
that we do believe the Heritage Foundation for the Preservation of
Jewish Cemeteries has had some success in the Ukraine. We looked
into their services in 2004 and our group was not able to raise
sufficient funds to cover the costs of an initial site survey. This
organization is on the web at : http://www.hfpjc.org/

I hope Sam Gruber can give you some useful advice in this respect.
He is a very busy guy, but very dedicated to the subject.

She's doing great! We miss her very much back home, but she's having
the time of her life, learning lots, making new friends, and enjoying
every moment.

Thanks for asking!

Best always,

Bruce
