Greetings,
Prof. Scherzer has written to me that when he said "Morgen German" for the
name of a newspaper, this was the "Morgenblatt" in the German language, put
out by Jewish publisher.
Also I realize I have conflicting dates within my Czernowitz exhibition. In
one place I say the temple was burned down on July 5, 1941, but in the
testimony of Rabbi Mark's wife at the Eichmann trial, she implies that it
was burned down on July 8. Does anybody know for sure the exact date?
Thanks.
Best,
Steven Lasky
