Joanna,
I would be happy to contribute to this fund. I have been able to document my
Aunt, Great and Great Great Grandparents' graves. Bruce was able to send me
pictures and they are in incredible shape. In addition, my husband's great
great grandparents came from Czernowitz and we were able to get pics of
their graves as well. The transcribed information from the records and
gravesite is so interesting and vital.
It's interesting to see the reactions of some relatives versus others. Some
people are very moved and some just don't get it. But when I explain the
project and describe that it's primarily being carried out by volunteers,
people are very moved.
Count me in!
P.S. Are you related to Jeffrey Liss from Chevy Chase, MD?
Ilana
