 Whatever the future location of the bust, I can only add that probably ove=

50% of our site members owe their lives to Traian Popovici. I do so
certainly myself -

for remaining in Czernowitz during 1941/4, except of course for the chance=
 
of surviving in Transnistria once deported. Also certainly some deportees t=
o

Transnistria survived because their relatives succeeded to help them from=
 
home. It is impossible to overestimate Popovici's positive role in saving=
 
Jews.

The vice president of the AERVH Asociatia Evreilor din Romania Victime=
 
ale Holocaustului, Mr. Liviu Beris, is a capable man and his promise to
administrate

 This fond for specifically the bust of Popovici means that the local
authority in Fundu Moldovei will be aptly supervised.
