Avraham,

You got me wrong, I did write that I thought that my father exchanged
a Popovici authorization for a Calotescu one and I thought that
it had happened in November of 1941. This seems to be wrong.
Since you remember my father telling you that he had a Popovici
authorization and since we had to hide in the summer of 1942,
It is likely that in November 1941, he tried to change the Popovici
authorization for a Calotescu one and did not succeed, or that this
is the date on which he got the Popovici authorization.

I will look further into this matter and if I'll be able to ascertain
the facts, will let you know.
Does anyone remember, or has found information on the manner in which
either Popovici or Calotescu authorizations were handed out?
According to what I remember, my mother told the soldiers, who had come
to arrest us, that on that particular day, authorizations were being given
to people who's names started with the letters R and S. This would mean that
authorizations were handed out in alphabetical order.

Mimi
