Dear Lydia,
Let me ask you, don’t you remember your first day of school?
Wouldn’t you remember your first suit after returning from the camps in Transnistria and wearing shmates? The tailor hiding in his closet because he did not have your suit ready for a fitting. Also your first pair of “bokantschen” shoes.
The only thing that I did not remember was the name of the cinema where I saw the Russian version of “Romeo and Juliet”. I asked Avraham Kogan and he told me that the name was the Apollo.
At the time, I did not know that the movie was Romeo and Juliet, only years later when I saw the Hollywood version I remembered that the story sounded familiar.
It looks like that you have not read my previous and earlier recollections; you can find them in EHPES:

This is a very nice story, but I wonder : how could you remember all those details, at 8 or 10 years old ???
I have only images, many images from my 8 or 9 years in Suceava, and then at 10 years in Israël !!!
I have no real long stories souvenirs like this ....... Somebody must have told you many things afterwards ??
But I found this story, which happened in Czernowitz, very interesting and touching !!
Lydia.
