My ignorance rearing it ugly head again: My father was also what my
mother referred to as a Galitzianer. But in a recent e-mail, it seemed
that there was a reference to Czernowitzers as not being Galitzianers.
Nu, what's the difference betw being from Cz and being a Galitizianer?
Oh, and one more oddity: MY mother (from Karlsruhe and then Belrin)
loves her gefuhlte fish with sugar, but my Dad, the Galitzianer, only
ate it with horseradish.
