[Cz-L] My personal comments re Cz Reunion

Dear Cznerowitz Group

Today is the first time that I have the opportunity to discuss with Luba
regarding the Czernowitz Reunion.

  I fully realise that we each have our needs and wants from this reunion.

Does it really matter what the reunion is called?????

It is important that we gather and meet and maybe, even meet childhood
friends. It seems to me that the itinerary has been prepared by Luba and
arrangements made and accommodation sourced and suitable rates obtained.

It appears that Mimi is duplicating the work that Luba has done by
contacting the hotels. What is the point of recontacting the hotels?

Of the seven days in Czernowitz only two are organised (a) Group discussions
(b) Commemoration Day for all who suffered in the Holocaust. The remaining
five day are free for us to do as we please and follow our needs. Whether
we visit the streets where we grow up, or the street names we remember as
been told to us by our parents, and of course any other places of interest.

The Mayor and City Dignitaries have accepted our invitation to the dinner
and the day of Commemoration.

The Jewish Community have also been contacted and have also accepted.

For those who have registered with Luba for the week in Czernowitz, please
reconfirm.

If you have not firmed up in your mind think about it. Join us, the more
the merrier.

LUBA HAS SPENT A LOT OF TIME AND ENERGY ON INQUIRES. LUBA IS DOING THIS
PURELY AS A LABOUR OF LOVE, AS I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO VISIT CZERNOWITZ AND
MOGILEV. THERE IS NO HIDDEN AGENDA OR OTHER MOTIVES. I LOOK FORWARD TO
MEETING YOU NEXT YEAR.
